HO-PIN TUNG SCORES POINTS WITH SEVENTH PLACE
In this weekends’ first GP2-race in Monaco Chinese racing driver Ho-Pin Tung did a good job. After a disappointing qualification session he had to start today from 20th position on the grid. Ho-Pin made one of rocket starts, for which he is known, drove a constant fast pace and fought his way up to 7th on the finish line. One says that it is impossible to overtake on the narrow street circuit of Monte Carlo. …. The young Chinese was rewarded with two championship points and a second place on the grid tomorrow, when Race 2 takes place. The second race of the weekend has a reverse grid order, from place 8. His team mate Mike Conway finished 8th today, so it will be an all Trident front row.
