11th place for Ho-Pin Tung
In race 2 of this weekend, the final race of this season, in his rookie season in the GP2 series Ho-Pin Tung secured 11th place. It was the maximum possible finish in a less than exciting race. The young Chinese started from 12th spot and drove solid lap times comparable with the fastest lap times. He skilful managed to keep big names like Di Grassi, Zuber and Senna behind him.
In the first race, on Saturday, Ho-Pin lost a fine and certain fifth place due to a disasterous pitstop which costed him a lot of positions. "With mixed feelings I end my first season in the GP2 series, says the Dutch Chinese race driver. "A lot of times I could have achieved more. It was very difficult to find speed in the car for qualifying, whereas in the races it usually went very well,' relates Ho-Pin shortly after the race.

Coming tuesday Ho-Pin will be travelling to Shanghai, for a demonstration in the BMW Sauber Formula 1 car. "Close to the racetrack", says Ho-Pin,' but I look forward to the moment I will be on the Formula 1 startgrid.'
