Dutch-Chinese racing driver Ho-Pin Tung has not yet completely recovered from the injury he suffered in the racing accident at the Hungaroring, last July. Docters do not allow him to start in this weekends´ GP2-races at Monza, Italy. Six weeks ago Ho-Pin could not avoid the spinning car of Jules Bianchi during the first lap of the GP2-race in Hungary, causing a small fracture on the lumbar vertebrae of the Chinese. ´I am not all pleased with the situation, I ´d rather be racing, but it is just sensible to follow docters orders,´ Ho-Pin comments. ´I am still wearing the bodice, tailored to me in Budapest, I am used to it. I do almost all my physical exercises every day, I only have to avoid shocks and too much pressure on my back. I am allowed to travel, so I ´ll be around at Monza. It is disappointing that my recovery takes more time than expected. ´
Romain Grosjean will again replace Ho-Pin Tung in the two GP2-races at Monza, this weekend.
